Gateway Delta was incubated in Grit Real Estate Income Group, a company Greg co-founded in 2014 and today the largest pan-African real estate income group listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. He played a strategic role in developing the company’s sustainable expansion across multiple geographies and its exceptional tenant portfolio, leading to its successful London listing in July 2018.
As a former executive of AECOM (a global provider of design, development, engineering and construction services) Greg was responsible for expanding the footprint of the ‘Rest of Africa’ business from 2006 (outside of South Africa) to 2013. His market sector knowledge includes: office, retail, leisure, education and healthcare schemes with first-hand professional experience in over 40 African countries.
Krishnen (Krish) Kistnen

Krish has more than 10 years’ financial accounting experience, 3 years’ of which are specific to the real estate industry. He was the managing director of Southern View Finance Mauritius, a company which specialized in credit risk assessment for micro lending in South Africa, where he was responsible for implementing the corporate financial strategy and policy.
Krish further had oversight and co-ordination responsibility on all fiscal reporting activities, the design and monitor of financial key performance indicators as well as the supervision of activities and co-ordination of the independent auditors. Prior to Southern View Finance, Krishnen held the position of Audit Supervisor at BDO in their Mauritius and Audit Manager in BDO Cape Town offices where he liaised directly with financial staff to evaluate key business processes and supervised interim and financial year-end audits, charged with the communication of all findings to key client staff such as Financial Directors and Partners.
He serviced the following blue chip clients such as Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd, Development Bank of Mauritius Ltd, Forges Tardieu Ltd, Airports of Mauritius Ltd, Motorite Insurance Administrators, Ogilvy Africa BV and Quirk South Africa has seen him gaining valuable and varied accounting and financial experience.

Shevira joined Gateway Delta in July 2019 working closely with the Chief Executive Officer to identify and capitalise on long-term opportunities that support sustainable business growth. She provides leadership & oversight on development of real estate projects and construction management while maintaining control of the diverse business.Read More
She is also involved in strategic business development; project finance & execution; feasibility studies; operational support; internal control governance and risk mitigation oversight.
Prior to joining Gateway Delta, Shevira was a Director at AECOM, where she spent 16 years of her career and grew through the ranks from a Candidate Quantity Surveyor to a Senior Director responsible for the company’s Commercial Market Sector.
Her responsibilities included short to long-term strategic planning initiatives for growth, business development, AECOM’s continuous capability advancement & technical oversight on projects to ensure a high quality service delivery. Her oversight was key to aligning the African business within the commercial space with the rest of the global business.
Shevira is a recipient of the Golden Key Award from the International Honours Society and currently also lectures at the University of Cape Town’s Business School as a subject matter expert on Property Development Feasibility Studies. Further, She is an assessor on the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors board, a member of the South African Council for Quantity Surveying Profession and the Association for South African Quantity Surveyors.
Having distinguished herself at a very young age in a male dominated industry, she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of talented women to reach the top of their chosen fields.

Andre has more than a decade’s experience in the property sector, mainly as senior transactor in the Real Estate Finance divisions of the Standard Bank Group and Nedbank Corporate Property Finance. During his tenure, Andre provided customised property finance solutions, innovative deal-making and product structuring whilst developing strategic relationships with well-known developers and investors in the South African industry.Read More
Before joining Standard Bank Group in 2015, Andre gained valuable experience working in a listed environment at Delta Property Fund, one of the largest office REITs (by GLA) listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. As Senior Investment Manager, Andre was responsible for maximising total return for each assigned asset through the analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance. He was a key member of the team that grew the portfolio from 20 properties at listing to 78 properties within a period of 18 months.
Andre was also part of the team that was instrumental in Grit Real Estate Income Group’s listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in July 2014.

Prior to joining Gateway Delta, Tim was the Development Director of Compagnie de Mont Choisy, a sugar farming company in Mauritius. During Tim’s tenure, he was engaged in the strategy and execution of transforming the business from a farming enterprise to a leading real estate development company.
Before Compagnie de Mont Choisy, Tim was CEO of Ciel Properties Limited, a subsidiary of the Ciel Group, a Mauritian listed multi-national conglomerate employing some 22 000 people across Mauritius, Africa and Asia. He held board positions on a number of the Ciel property cluster leisure and development companies, including the asset management committee of the Four Seasons Golf and Hotel development.Read More
Tim gained significant exposure to the Middle East as CEO of Omran, the Real Estate Management and Development Company of the Sultanate of Oman where he successfully managed the set-up and delivery of company and project structures in accordance with the strategic requirements of the Board, valued in excessof US$5bn.
Holding a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cape Town, Tim early on in his career worked as an architect in South Africa and London before entering into real estate development with Colliers RMS South Africa.
Tim has extensive experience in development companies and the full life cycle of mixed-use developments across multiple geographic and cultural borders in in-house developments and with joint venture partners.
